2007 Marine Corps Marathon

October 27-29, 2006

We were all "PROUD TO BE AMERICANS" as we traveled to our nation's capital to take part in the Marine Corps Marathon. Dubbed "the people's marathon", the 26.2 mile route wound its way around all of the D.C. sights and turned out to be just a phenomenal course. The group from STL had as much fun playing around Washington D.C. as we did running around Washington D.C. This was just an unbelievable time. A great group, a great city and a great race made for a phenomenal weekend! This race should be added to everyone's marathon calendar.

Photos were taken with John's Canon 20D with some extra help from Liz Friedman, Bonnie Miget, Lynn Bouvatte plus several others.
